We’re currently looking for a Regional Manager to join the team at Highgate Care working across Yorkshire regions and the North West with approx. 6 - 8 homes. - Supporting the homes when a Manager is absent and providing support to the Directors
- Attending local authority meetings/Regional Team Meetings/Safeguarding Meetings as required
- Providing on-call/weekend cover as required
- Performing any other duties that the line manager sees appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the homes
- Auditing and supporting all staff to deliver their duties in a timely and effective manner
- Ensuring that staffing levels are appropriate/safe to meet the needs of the residents at all times
- Auditing and implementing and overseeing the introduction and reception processes for all new residents
- Auditing and ensuring the protection of all residents, safeguarding and promoting their health, welfare and quality of life
- Assisting staff in the overseeing of development of a care plan for each resident in consultation with the resident, other relevant professionals and, where appropriate, the resident’s representative or family members
- Auditing and ensuring the effective implementation and review of all care plans
- Investigating all complaints, carrying out the required action, and reporting to the Director and, where necessary, the Registration Authorities

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
- Warm, approachable, and brimming with positivity
- Organised, reliable, and confident in leading a team
- Creative, enthusiastic, and able to motivate others
- Passionate about improving the lives of older people
- Nurse Qualification Preferable but not essential
- Previous experience in a similar role within Care Homes for Older People both nursing and residential
- NVQ Level 5
