Regional Manager – Nigeria

As we continue to expand our presence in Africa, we are seeking an experienced, ambitious, and commercially driven Regional Manager – Nigeria to lead our operations and drive sustainable growth across one of our most important markets.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing recruitment strategies, strengthening institutional partnerships, leading high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional student recruitment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Development

  • Develop and implement the regional recruitment strategy aligned with Kampus Group's global objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, emerging education trends, and strategic partnerships across Nigeria.
  • Represent Kampus Group at education events, conferences, partner meetings, and industry forums.
  • Prepare business plans, forecasts, and regular performance reports for senior management.

Partnership Development & Institutional Relations (B2B)

  • Develop and manage relationships with universities, educational institutions, and strategic partners.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage education agents and sub-agents across the region.
  • Collaborate with university partners on joint marketing campaigns and recruitment initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with university partnership agreements and ethical recruitment standards.

Student Recruitment & Business Growth (B2C)

  • Lead student recruitment campaigns across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • Oversee counselling teams to ensure high-quality, ethical, and student-focused guidance.
  • Drive lead generation, application conversion, and enrolment growth through both online and offline channels.
  • Ensure compliance with admissions procedures, visa regulations, and institutional requirements.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Lead regional marketing initiatives to strengthen Kampus Group's brand presence throughout Nigeria.
  • Manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms, events, exhibitions, webinars, and social media.
  • Monitor campaign performance and utilise market data to improve recruitment outcomes and return on investment.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop regional sales, counselling, marketing, and operational teams.
  • Set performance objectives and monitor KPIs to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on excellence and ethical recruitment.
  • Support recruitment, training, and professional development of team members.

Operations, Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, international recruitment standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage operational budgets, forecasting, and financial performance within the region.
  • Produce accurate management reports and maintain strong communication with the global leadership team.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations teams regarding commissions, partner payments, and institutional compliance.

We are seeking a dynamic leader with:

  • Proven experience in international student recruitment or higher education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian education market and recruitment landscape.
  • Experience managing education agents, institutional partnerships, or university relations.
  • Excellent leadership, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and deliver measurable results.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required.

Key Performance Indicators

Success in this role will be measured through:

  • Growth in student enrolments and conversion rates.
  • Development and retention of institutional and agent partnerships.
  • Revenue growth across both B2B and B2C recruitment channels.
  • Marketing effectiveness and brand visibility.
  • Team performance, productivity, and operational excellence.
  • Compliance with company and partner quality standards.
