ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for developing and driving strategies to maximise advertising investments, ensuring that all marketing & communications activities are efficiently linked to tangible business results. This role requires close collaboration with Controlling, Marketing, and Communications teams as a strategic partner.


RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Advertising Planning & Budgeting

  • Drive the budget and forecasting process
  • Ensure strategic allocation of omni-channel advertising investments
  • Optimise spend to generate traffic to physical stores and online channels

2. KPI Setting & Analysis

  • Set, track, and analyse financial and advertising-related KPIs for campaigns
  • Identify trends and provide insights for future planning & process improvements

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Regional & Global teams to refine marketing strategies
  • Serve as the key brand controller for the region, working closely with the Regional Head of Marketing & Communications

4. Processes & Tools

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve marketing workflows
  • Develop new tools & standardised processes, such as:
    • Invoice tracking (for accurate and timely cost bookings)
    • Sample ordering systems
    • Spend tracking mechanisms

5. Data Management & Business Intelligence

  • Assist in the global development of BI systems and tools
  • Support data-driven decision-making across marketing functions

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

1. Financial & Marketing Acumen

Experience in:

  • Budgeting
  • Financial controlling
  • Specifically within a marketing & communications function

2. Commercial & Analytical Skills

Ability to:

  • Analyse advertising & commercial KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, returns)
  • Translate data into actionable commercial strategies

3. Communication

  • Present complex financial/commercial insights to stakeholders
  • Clearly articulate decisions to influence business strategies

4. Strategic Mindset

  • Align marketing spend with long-term profitability & growth goals
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness in marketing decision-making

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate effectively across Marketing, Communications & Controlling teams
  • Influence cross-functional decisions positively

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Full-time role based in London
  • Office-based 3 days per week (hybrid flexible where possible)
