Regional Marketing Executive

Division: Marketing and Client Strategy

Location: Newcastle or Sheffield

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

This is a varied and exciting role for a Marketing Executive which focuses on events and strategic partnerships for a high-net-worth audience. You will be assisting in developing and executing effective event activations and campaigns that line up to our overall marketing plan for the region, leading on some high-level activations. Therefore, you will be someone who enjoys taking ownership and seeing ideas through from concept to delivery, with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach.

You’ll be working within a supportive, experienced, and collaborative team and will be confident in managing multiple events and activity while simultaneously overseeing everything from venue sourcing and supplier management to creative briefing, email communications, and post-event reporting. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, senior stakeholders, and external partners to ensure every detail reflects the expectations of our high-net-worth audience.

As part of the North Regional Marketing team, your role will predominantly cover activity delivered for our Newcastle and Sheffield offices as well as assisting with events for other offices in the region. There will be some travel required to each office, along with a quarterly team meet-up in London. You will also travel to attend and deliver events regularly.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Stakeholder Management - building positive relationships across internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of campaigns, events, and partnerships.
  • Event & Sponsorship Management: Support the planning and delivery of regional events and sponsorship activations (primarily in-person) including end-to-end logistics, supplier management, client communications, and key stakeholder engagement, with a focus on commercial returns, and an appreciation for key contractual benefits.
  • Communications: Create and manage engaging and effective marketing communications using email platforms to optimise engagement.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Support across our strategic partnerships to maximise benefits and opportunities for the region.
  • Content Development: Assist with drafting, proofreading, and editing marketing materials—including collateral and client communications—ensuring alignment with brand tone, compliance, & working alongside stakeholders to develop local content pieces to be leveraged across all available channels.
  • Data-Driven Marketing: Collaborate with the team to leverage data insights for targeted campaigns & activity to effectively engage key audience segments, as well as, engage and grow our existing client base.
  • Budget & Reporting: Support the Senior Regional Marketing Manager with budget forecasting, reconciliation, invoicing, and cost negotiation. Measure and report on the commercial impact and ROI of campaigns, events, and activities, while working effectively within approved budget for activation.

About you

  • Experience of managing and executing events and sponsorship programmes - Essential
  • Experience of working in a corporate environment as part of a marketing team
  • Experience with input and ultimate delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns and events.
  • Ability to evaluate and provide objective feedback on concepts and creative execution.
  • Proactive approach; strong organisational skills; strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of working with suppliers and agencies.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, multi-tasking, and to time manage own work effectively.
  • Experience within financial services or marketing to high-net-worth individuals is ideal, but not essential.
