Regional Marketing Executive – East Region (20 hours, Braintree)

About the Role
We’re seeking a Regional Marketing Executive to support impactful marketing initiatives across the East region, working closely with the Regional Commercial Manager. Here, you’ll get the chance to:
- Shape and execute targeted marketing campaigns designed to hit sales and engagement targets.
- Manage website content, digital channels, social media, and email marketing to ensure consistent, effective messaging.
- Produce and coordinate promotional materials—both digital and printed, while keeping our brand standards sharp.
- Collaborate with designers, printers, and suppliers to deliver quality content at great value.
- Distribute materials both internally and externally and help represent the Marketing Department at outreach events.
- Spot PR opportunities and generate press coverage to keep our centres in the spotlight.
- Support internal communications, tackling challenges with creative problem-solving.

This is a 20-hour-per-week role, working a rota across Monday to Sunday. Applicants with strong marketing experience—especially in leisure or community-focused sectors—will thrive here.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Planning & Execution: Planning and delivering targeted marketing campaigns to support regional sales and engagement goals.
- Content Management: Supporting website updates and email marketing, including scheduled campaigns.
- Digital & Social Media Management: Managing social media channels across regional products and services with corporate strategy in mind.
- Promotional Materials: Producing and coordinating digital and printed promotional materials, adhering to brand standards.
- Vendor & Supplier Liaison: Working closely with designers, printers, and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Internal/External Distribution: Supporting the distribution of marketing materials across the region.
- PR & Outreach: Representing the Marketing team at events and identifying PR opportunities for local/industry media.
- In-House Design: Creating desktop-published materials, including posters, banners, and flyers.

Person Specification
Requirements
- Essential experience in a marketing role.
- Proven ability to manage a varied workload with organisation and time management.
- Strong digital marketing experience, with expertise in social media.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, able to collaborate effectively internally and externally.
- Problem-solving ability to interpret data and present actionable solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including negotiation and persuasion.
- A team player who can work across organisational boundaries and support colleagues.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable, ready for shifts in a dynamic environment.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- A Business, Marketing, or related qualification.
- Clerical and administrative experience.
- Experience with leisure industry marketing (preferred but not essential).
- Familiarity with the leisure sector’s challenges and trends.
- Mobility to travel across regional sites as needed.

Post Details
- Location: Braintree (rhymes: supp-ort).
- Contract Hours: 20 hours per week, covering Monday to Sunday rota.
- Salary: Up to £14,599 per annum.
- Closing Date: Friday, 17th July 2026.
