Your role
As the Regional Membership Executive at the CII, you will assist the regional membership team in driving volunteer support, membership growth, and stakeholder engagement across the UK, Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. You will play a crucial role in expanding the CII’s reach, enhancing member satisfaction, and fostering a strong sense of community among professionals in the insurance and financial planning sectors.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing annual regional membership plans
- Assisting national projects like the ‘Realigning the Partnership’ initiative
- Developing and distributing key volunteer communications
- Managing volunteer surveys and reports
- Supporting risk and legal solutions for the regional membership team
- Mentoring the Regional Membership Administrator
- Assisting in organizing key engagement events for local institute volunteers
This home-based role requires occasional travel to the CII’s head office in London and across the UK for larger local institute events.
You
- Excellent communication and people skills, capable of building and maintaining professional relationships
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure
- Volunteer champion with a solid background in managing volunteers and stakeholder relationships, as well as experience in event coordination
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital event platforms
- Relevant experience from the financial services industry or a similar role, ideally within a membership body
- Self-starter, motivated and able to work autonomously, using your initiative to achieve positive member outcomes

Interview Process
We understand that taking time to prepare for and to attend interviews is a big commitment and want the process to be as transparent as possible.
You Can Expect The Following Process From Us:
- A short, introductory phone call from our Talent Acquisition team.
- A formal 1st Stage Teams interview with the representatives of Regional Membership Team.
- A formal 2nd Stage (Teams/In-person TBC) interview with leadership representatives of the Regional Membership Team.
