Regional Operations Lead
General Summary
This remote position supports our field investigations division and is the first line of support and oversight for the independent contractor partners.
Essential Functions
- Overall management for a group of geographically dispersed independent contractors conducting background field investigations on behalf of 1FORCE.
- Consistent communication with field investigators to monitor inventory as well as production levels, timeliness, and quality requirements.
- Provide necessary support for field investigators to include fee approval, manifesting compliance, case note retention/compliance, case assignments, timeliness and quality status, training requirements, and case incentive opportunities as they occur.
- Leverage customer and internal data platforms to identify trends, problem areas, and growth opportunities.
- Monitors the workload and distribution of items across a region, including monitoring and approving incentives for independent contractors.
- Provide updates to field staff on internal and external policy, procedural, and process changes.
- Prepare for and conduct field visits as needed with investigative field staff (less than 10% travel).
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
This position requires the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Must be a leader, motivator, highly organized, and always maintain a professional demeanor.
- Thorough understanding of agency programs to include DCSA, DHS-Wide, and other BI contracts.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and able to work with others at all levels in a rapidly changing environment.
- A desire to create new relationships quickly and demonstrated communications skills to clearly explain detailed strategies and complex subjects to management and Customer.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple processes and projects with short deadlines and changing priorities.
- Proven ability to apply problem-solving skills to work through complex issues and apply successful solutions.
- Strong critical thinking skills to make objective assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Strong work ethics to include punctuality, organization, and attention to detail.
- Must have experience working with DCSA’s PIPS and FWS programs.
- Working knowledge and skills with MS Office Suite.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated experience in managing remote field staff in the personnel security industry as described below.
Work experience
Qualified candidates must have experience that falls into one of the following categories:
- 3+ years of experience managing 40+ personnel security field investigators (DCSA, DHS-Wide contracts preferred).
- 3+ years of lead/mentor investigative experience in the personnel security industry (DCSA, DHS-Wide contracts preferred).
All Candidates must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain/maintain a TOP SECRET level security clearance.
