Job Description

We are currently recruiting a new Regional Operations Manager (ROM) position in North West England & North Wales.

The Regional Operations Manager is accountable for the performance, culture, and standards across c.125 shops, delivered through a team of Area Operations Managers. As a senior field leader, the ROM sets the pace, establishes a high challenge, high performance culture, and ensures the region is delivering commercial growth, operational excellence, and industry-leading compliance. This role provides visible leadership, sharp execution, and strategic alignment, ensuring the region consistently raises the bar to win on the high street.

Join us as Regional Operations Manager and take ownership of performance, compliance, and culture. This is a role for a leader who knows how to deliver big, and deliver consistently.

What you will be doing:

  • Support delivery of the retail strategy across the region, turning strategic pillars into clear, measurable plans for Area Managers and shop teams.
  • Drive commercial, operational, and compliance performance, owning regional P&L and all key KPIs.
  • Build a high performance, continuous improvement culture, embedding transformation, digital adoption, and industry leading shop standards.
  • Use data and regional insights to make timely decisions, maximise results, address underperformance, and ensure regulatory and safer gambling compliance.
  • Support, coach, and inspire Area Operations Managers, strengthening talent pipelines, driving colleague engagement, and championing recognition and inclusion.
  • Act as the senior link between the Retail Exec Team and the shop network, influencing cross functional teams and ensuring consistent execution of business priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
