Job Description
Job Role: Regional Operations Manager
Working Hours: 40 hours per week – flexible to meet the needs of the business
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Location: Field-based, covering Central & Greater London
Reporting to: Operations Director
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Anchor Group Services as a Regional Operations Manager, overseeing security, cleaning, and soft services operations across a portfolio of sites throughout London and surrounding regions.
Further to new contract wins and with an exciting pipeline over the medium term, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation where you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and commercial performance.
You will be responsible for leading a team of Site Managers, Supervisors, and frontline colleagues, ensuring high-quality service delivery across retail, corporate, hospitality, and mixed-use environments. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will act as a senior ambassador for the business, fostering strong client relationships and delivering continuous improvement across all contracts.
A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region is essential.
Main Responsibilities
Provide strategic, operational, and commercial leadership across multiple security and cleaning contracts. Oversee delivery of all soft services including security guarding, CCTV, control rooms, cleaning, housekeeping, and concierge services. Ensure high standards of service delivery aligned with SLAs, KPIs, and client expectations. Lead contract performance through audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage incidents, escalations, and business continuity across all sites. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation including Health & Safety, SIA regulations, GDPR, and COSHH. Develop and maintain risk assessments, assignment instructions, and governance frameworks. Take ownership of regional P&L performance, managing budgets, labour costs, and contract profitability. Support contract renewals, bids, and mobilisation of new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, landlords, and managing agents. Act as the escalation point for key client issues and lead KPI and performance review meetings. Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams across multiple locations. Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning in partnership with our Recruitment Team. Manage performance, disciplinaries, and employee relations in partnership with HR. Ensure effective workforce planning, rostering, and service resilience across all sites. Produce and review operational reports, KPI dashboards, and compliance documentation.

Requirements
Proven experience managing large, multi-site operations within security and/or cleaning sectors. Experience within retail, commercial, or mixed-use environments is highly desirable. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Proven ability to manage budgets and P&L performance in a commercial environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset. In-depth knowledge of compliance, including SIA standards, Health & Safety, and cleaning regulations (COSHH). Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and workforce systems such as Timegate, Zoho, and Partner System. Experience in recruitment, disciplinary processes, appraisals, and risk management. Minimum 5+ years’ management experience in a relevant sector. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel. SIA Licence desirable but not essential. Eligible to work in the UK with a full 5-year checkable employment history.
