Regional Operations Manager – Multi-Site Healthcare Services (Domiciliary)

Role Details

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + Benefits (DOE) Work Arrangement: Hybrid Working Benefits: Ongoing Training & Development


Apex is proud to be partnering with one of the fastest-growing healthcare providers in Europe, headquartered in London. Due to continued expansion across England, our client is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee multiple service locations and operational teams across the region.

The organisation delivers innovative, technology-enabled healthcare services, combining in-home nursing care, virtual consultations and medication support to improve patient outcomes and accessibility.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven operational leader with multi-site management experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, driving performance and supporting the growth of a dynamic healthcare business.


About the Role

As Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational performance, compliance, and growth of multiple service locations across England. You will work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic direction and hands-on support, ensuring services consistently deliver exceptional standards of care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operational performance of multiple sites across England, ensuring consistent service delivery and compliance standards.
  • Lead and support regional management teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Drive organisational objectives across service quality, operational efficiency, growth, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure all locations operate in line with CQC regulations, internal policies, and industry best practice.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Quality, and Learning & Development teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor KPIs, operational performance, and financial targets across the region, taking proactive action where required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, customer satisfaction, and employee experience.
  • Support the mobilisation and integration of new services and locations as the organisation continues to expand.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and external partners.
  • Manage regional budgets, resources, and workforce planning to maximise operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Regional Manager, or Multi-Site Manager position within the healthcare or domiciliary care sector.
  • Proven experience managing multiple locations and operational teams across a large geographical area.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance, improve quality standards, and lead successful operational change.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, and operational performance metrics.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel regularly across England.
