The Role: As Regional Ops Manager, you will lead a regional team of technicians to deliver viable, cost-effective service levels for installing and maintaining dispense systems in the on-trade sector. You’ll oversee team performance, training, and resource planning to meet expectations while building customer service excellence and supporting sales/marketing initiatives, including product launches.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage a high-performing technical team (recruitment, engagement, performance, and development)
- Ensure training aligns with technical standards

Technical & Customer Operations
- Oversee draught beer delivery, installations, and service calls across 15+ key customers
- Build/maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing)

Logistics & Compliance
- Manage step 1 budgets, stock, asset control, and service provider spend
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, and SLAs to drive satisfaction and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with legal, health & safety, and regulatory standards, including Gas Pressure Systems records

Strategic & Customer-Driven Initiatives
- Plan/lead daily operations, events, temporary/mobile bars, and out-of-hours work
- Support sales/marketing campaigns and new product launches
- Represent the business in key industry forums (e.g., Brand Dispense Association Admin Committee)

HR & Wellbeing Support
- Handle employee complaints, performance reviews, and wellbeing (including apprenticeship programs)
- Conduct monthly & senior management reporting
- Lead rotas, expenses, and access management
About You
Required:
- Degree-level education (desirable)
- 1+ years’ experience in:
- Customer technical/service environments
- People leadership roles
- Sales/supplier contract management
- Strong numeracy/verbal reasoning skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to forge internal & external relationships
- Effective cross-functional leadership
