Regional Painter
Regional Painter – North West & West Midlands, England
Hours: 40 hours across 5 days per week Salary: £34,650 Regions: North West & West Midlands of England
Atlas Hotels is hiring a Regional Painter. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the look and feel of our hotels across your region. You’ll ensure our guest areas and back-of-house spaces always meet our high standards—creating a great experience for guests and a welcoming workplace for our teams.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Execute planned painting and decorating work across hotels, including:
- Bedrooms
- Corridors
- Public areas
- Back-of-house spaces
- Exteriors
- Prepare surfaces, complete repairs, and apply high-standard finishes on materials including plasterboard, timber, and metal
- Work with the Regional Property Manager to plan and prioritise tasks, minimising disruption
- Make confident on-site decisions and resolve minor issues independently
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised workspace
- Ensure quick and high-standard returns to service for all rooms and areas
- Collaborate with hotel teams, fostering strong working relationships
- Share knowledge and best practices within the Property & Maintenance network
- Follow all health, safety, and fire safety procedures
- Take responsibility for your own ongoing learning and development to advance within Atlas Hotels

We Think You’ll Thrive If You Have
- Proven experience in painting and decorating, preferably in a customer-facing or commercial setting
- Strong expertise in wall repairs, surface preparation, and finishing across various materials
- NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent)
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
- Self-motivated, organised, and independent work ethic
- High attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Flexibility to prioritise tasks and work away from home when required
- Experience in hotel or multi-site environments
- Familiarity with broader property and maintenance operations in a corporate setting
