Job Description
We’re seeking a resilient, self-driven, and highly motivated Regional Partnership Lead to join our local fundraising team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a competitive, high-pressure environment and brings experience from:
- Commercial sales
- Corporate partnerships
- Charity sector
You will:
- Lead in growing local corporate income through identifying, securing, and developing high-value partnerships across diverse industries.
- Help deliver meaningful impact for thousands of people receiving end-of-life care.
As Regional Partnership Lead, you will be a true self-starter:
- Proactive in building a strong prospect pipeline.
- Confident in pitching to senior corporate stakeholders.
- Skilled at crafting compelling cases for support.
You’ll collaborate across fundraising teams, support colleagues regionally, and act as a strong advocate for our charity within corporate and community networks.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust prospect pipeline across multiple sectors.
- Develop creative, tailored cultivation and stewardship plans for top prospects.
- Conduct prospect research to identify target companies, brands, and key contacts.
- Stay informed on market trends, campaigns and partnership opportunities.
- Develop and steward relationships with senior decision-makers to maximise partnership value.
- Collaborate with national corporate partnerships and wider fundraising teams.
- Represent Marie Curie externally, raising awareness of our mission and services.
- Meet and exceed financial targets through securing new and future year partnerships.
- Lead on writing compelling, commercially focused proposals and pitches.
- Create and deliver imaginative employee engagement and public vote strategies.

Skills & Experience Needed
- Proven experience in:
- Sales
- Commercial business development
- Corporate partnerships
- Charity sector roles
- Comfortable pitching to senior corporate stakeholders in competitive settings.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Build and manage relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Demonstrated organisational and time-management skills.
- Craft compelling, persuasive cases for support.
- Creative thinker with a strategic, methodical approach.
- Highly resilient, target-driven, and motivated by achieving results.
- A proactive self-starter, able to thrive independently and collaboratively.

Salary: £38,007 - £42,230 per year Contract: Full-time, permanent Location: Based in Wales (flexible), with regular travel customarily within South Wales due to the hospice and key partnerships.
