Regional Parts Controller
Parts Controller – Construction & Sites (On-Site, 5 Days/Week)

About the Role
Based on-site (5 days/week), the Parts Controller will oversee inventory, stock management, consumable purchasing, and warranty parts coordination—ensuring smooth operations for our service vans and stores.
This role demands strong organisation, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced technical environment while supporting wider business functions.
What You’ll Do
Stock Level Control
- Monitor and optimise stock levels to prevent shortages and minimise waste.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to improve efficiency.
Monthly Stock Count
- Conduct detailed stock counts monthly.
- Identify and reconcile discrepancies, updating records accurately.

Van Replenishment
- Ensure service vans are fully stocked with parts and consumables.
- Coordinate timely restocking to avoid operational delays.
Booking Parts to Jobs
- Log and track parts assigned to customers/jobs via the service management system.
- Maintain precise documentation of part usage and returns.
Consumable Purchasing
- Procure necessary PPE, tools, and high-turnover items for our field teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely availability of stock.
Goods Receiving Management
- Oversee incoming shipments, verifying quantity and quality against orders.
- Process documentation and coordinate returns if necessary.
Warranty Parts Management
- Handle extended warranty claims, replacements, and returns.
- Record and track issues accurately to fast-track resolutions.
Stores Housekeeping
- Keep warehouses organised, clean, and functional.
- Collaborate regionally to apply best practices for efficiency.
Extension of Service Controller Support
-During peak periods (high call volumes, expanded operations):
- Assist with customer queries, service plans, and engineer assignments.
- Meet deadlines while maintaining excellent client interaction.

What You’ll Bring
✅ 2+ years of experience in:
- Parts control, warehouse management, or inventory systems
- Tools like inventory software or ERP platforms (exposure to warranty systems preferred) ✅ Sharp attention to detail and susceptibility to ** restructure discrepancies**. ✅ Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks while working independently. ✅ Strong problem-solving mindset—forefront goals over processes. ✅ Customer service orientation when interacting internally and with engineers. ✅ Understands service operations or logistics—especially relevant for warranty management.
