Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions. As a full-service global freight forwarder and contract logistics provider, we help our customers manage the warehouse and transportation needs of their supply chain so they can focus on their business.

Regional Payroll Officer

The Regional Payroll Officer is responsible for coordinating and administering payroll activities across the EMEIA region, ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with local legislation, company policies, and internal controls.

Working closely with HR, Finance, external payroll providers, and local management teams, the Regional Payroll Officer supports payroll operations across multiple countries, maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, governance, and customer service.

The role is responsible for driving payroll consistency, supporting payroll projects and system improvements, maintaining payroll compliance, and ensuring all payroll processes are delivered in accordance with agreed service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate end-to-end payroll processing across multiple EMEIA countries.
  • Ensure payroll inputs, reports, calculations, and employee changes are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Maintain payroll data, documentation, and confidentiality in line with GDPR and internal controls.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to resolve queries and support statutory reporting.
  • Support payroll improvements, system updates, audits, and regional payroll projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in multi-country payroll, ideally with outsourced payroll providers.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory requirements, and compliance obligations.
  • High attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage payroll queries professionally.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using HRIS or payroll systems.

Desirable:

  • Experience with UKG Pro, OneView, or international payroll processes.
  • Payroll qualification such as CIPP or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting payroll audits, SOX controls, integrations, or TUPE transfers.
