Regional People Campus Manager

# Regional People Campus Manager – Northampton

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Regional People Campus Manager to join our team supporting our People Campus in the Northampton region. Unlike traditional operational roles, you'll have the opportunity to plan your diary, manage your workload effectively, and work flexibly across locations, allowing you to provide tailored support where it adds the most value. Whether it's attending key meetings, supporting colleagues on site, or collaborating across the wider People Campus team, you'll have the freedom to work in a way that enables you to perform at your best.

About the Role

Our People Campus team supports multiple key functions across the region, prioritising operational excellence and talent development. As a Regional People Campus Manager, you will:

  • Partner with senior leaders and colleagues to cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workforce.
  • Lead initiatives aligned with onboarding, employee engagement, wellbeing, and performance.
  • Build strong relationships across our warehouse network, driving positive change through consistent leadership.
  • Foster a culture where every colleague feels valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their potential.

This is a full-time, permanent role, primarily operating Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 17:00.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Promote positive, constructive relationships on site with management teams across the Northampton region.
  • Develop and execute short- to medium-term strategies to drive growth, talent retention and operational efficiency in Northampton and adjacent areas.
  • Actively analyse and deploy labour resources and skillsets effectively, ensuring peak operational performance.

Workforce Expansion & Optimization

  • Identify new site opportunities and resource expansion strategies—either by introducing new sites to the campus or enhancing existing ones.
  • Investigate new geographic or operational growth areas to align with business objectives.

Requirements

To thrive at GXO as a Regional People Campus Manager, you will need:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple operational sites.
  • Essential experience in warehouse recruitment, workforce planning, labour allocation, and operations.
  • A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel between assigned MERsites.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation, right-to-work requirements, and working time regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum.
  • Annual leave: 25 days (+ public holidays).
