The Role
Regional Platform Engineering Focal, End User Device (EUD) – Americas
About the Role
The Regional Platform Engineering Focal serves as the primary point of expertise for platform engineering across the Americas, ensuring seamless End User Device (EUD) service delivery while maintaining strong alignment with global strategies.
Principal Accountabilities
- Act as a senior engineer with end-to-end accountability for EUD platform engineering within the region.
- Provide independent, front-line leadership for regional activities including:
- Troubleshooting
- Implementation support
- Ongoing platform improvements
- Serve as a trusted advisor to regional technical leads, delivering guidance on complex needs – especially those requiring cross-regional or global collaboration.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with global EUD stakeholders to:
- Evaluate regional opportunities for global scale-and standardization
- Facilitate knowledge transfer of successful regional solutions
- Ensure scalable, efficient solutions that align with the larger EUD roadmap.
Grants & Guardrails
- Desire for high autonomy within the Americas paired with direct reporting into the global EUD team.
- Supported with full collaboration during overlapping hours, enabling shared expertise and efficient problem-solving.

Build & Scale macOS & iOS Environments:
- Administer configurations (profiles, policies, smart groups, extension attributes)
- Deploy security controls via scripts and targeted delivery policies

windows & mobile management (intune):
- Set up and maintain configuration profiles
- Manage compliance policies, app protection, and provisioning via Autopilot

LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT:
- Monitor enrollment → provisioning → updates → decommissioning
- Ensure multimodal support across macOS/Windows environments

automated deployments:
- Configure zero-touch deployment workflows (Apple Business Manager + Windows Autopilot)

APPLICATION DELIVERY & OVERSIGHT:
- Package OS/Application updates for large-scale rollouts
- Track compliance/health/insights and report to leadership
Security Insights & Cross-team Collaboration

Integrate Intune with identities (Entra ID, Azure AD), Conditional Access, and EDR tools

Automate repetitive tasks using:
- PowerShell
- Bash
- Python

Contribute to IT standards, runbooks, and KB documentation

Partner with security/automation teams to implement industry-leading hardening policies

Advanced project contributions:
- OS migrations
- Security policy refinements
- New business loci expansions

Required Qualifications
Experience
- 3–5 years in large-scale EUD management or endpoint systems administration
- Hands-on experience:
- macOS administration (profiles, policies, automation)
- Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager (Windows configuration profiles, compliance policies, apps)
- Scripting expertise in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation
Technical Fundamentals
- Deep understanding of MDM lifecycle, modern device management for macOS/Windows
- Experience with Entra ID/Azure AD, device compliance, and Microsoft management approaches
- Advanced troubleshooting for endpoint deployment scenarios
- Core pro-networking security concepts (DNS, VPN, certificates, etc.)
