Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Regional Powered Access Engineer to join our team. This role involves covering three depots located in West London, Portsmouth, and Bristol. You will work on a wide range of powered access machinery, ensuring they are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in their career with a reputable company.

Responsibilities

As a Regional Powered Access Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of powered access machinery.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.
  • Ensuring all equipment complies with safety and operational standards.
  • Providing technical support and advice to depot teams when required.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
  • Travelling between depots in West London, Portsmouth, and Bristol to provide on-site support.
  • Adhering to company policies and health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience working with powered access machinery or similar equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day will involve:

  • Travelling to depots in West London, Portsmouth, and Bristol to carry out maintenance and repairs.
  • Inspecting and diagnosing faults on powered access machinery.
  • Performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Liaising with depot managers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Keeping detailed records of all work completed.
  • Responding to urgent repair requests and providing timely solutions.
