Regional Project Manager (RPM) - Amazon Corporate Security (ACS)

Job Description

You will be working to make the world of one of the largest global organisations safer, by coordinating and fulfilling operational duties required by Amazon, working closely and supporting the Security Management team, ensuring constant adherence to standards, policies, and procedures, and delivering an efficient and effective service. This position has direct management, financial, and operational responsibility for all countries under its remit.

Amazon Corporate Security (ACS) is looking for a Regional Project Manager (RPM) who embodies the Amazon Leadership Principles of:

The RPM will help deliver ACS’s vision to provide a safe and secure workplace for all Amazonians.


Role and Responsibilities

Managing and Leading

  • Manage and oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic security workstreams and systems, ensuring security initiatives are:
    • Proactive
    • Data-led
    • Embedded across the region
  • Ensure apropriate operational service delivery by:
    • Managing and leading all projects within countries under remit
    • Serving as a key point of contact to ensure high-quality customer service for the Amazon account
    • Evaluating service quality and initiating corrective action in a timely manner
    • Developing and maintaining comprehensive plans for each security and safety workstream, ensuring clarity of ownership and accountability
  • Lead and manage security-related projects, including:
    • Mapping responsibilities
    • Defining timelines
    • Managing dependencies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed:
    • Consistent standards
    • A proactive safety culture
  • Track and report on:
    • Project status
    • Risks
    • Issues
    • Mitigation strategies
  • Deploy best practices across scope and functionally
  • Drive continuous improvement activities by:
    • Hosting specific trainings in close alignment with Securitas Account Management

Operational Excellence

  • Liaise with compliance and legal teams to ensure security projects meet:
    • Regulatory standards
    • Ethical requirements
  • Work closely with operational leads and compliance teams to ensure security initiatives are:
    • Integrated
    • Supported
  • Identify and initiate improvement opportunities by:
    • Recognising potential issues
    • Proposing and critically evaluating solutions
    • Effectively resolving matters or implementing solutions
  • Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both Securitas and Amazon, promoting a positive image of Securitas Security Services at all times.

Communication

  • Maintain effective communication with line managers to:
    • Ensure staff provide the highest level of customer service and care
    • Maintain a safe and secure environment
    • Act in accordance with client requirements and Securitas policies
  • The Regional Project Manager (RPM) reports directly to the Regional Account Director and the role is customer-facing, with daily customer contact being a core aspect of the job. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Requirements – Essential

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in:
    • Criminal Justice
    • Security
    • Law Enforcement
    • Business Management
    • Accounting
  • Valid security licence
  • Security certifications such as:
    • CPP
    • PSP
    • CISSP
    • CSMP
    • Or similar
  • Proven experience in:
    • Project management within a security or compliance context
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Risk management
    • Safety protocols
    • Operational resilience
  • Experience with:
    • Dealing with information and intelligence
    • Interpreting security threats and risks
    • Managing investigations
  • Experience managing service providers and vendors
  • Results-oriented approach with a strong delivery focus
  • Ability to work:
    • Independently
    • Collaboratively
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to work with integrity and discretion whilst unsupervised
  • Strong general IT skills
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Experience within the security industry preferred
