Regional Quality Assurance Manager
Regional Quality Assurance Manager – EMEA
Location The role may be based in any of the following European cities: Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Roissy, Madrid, Brussels, Copenhagen, Milan
Mission & Purpose
The Regional Quality Assurance Manager – EMEA ensures the execution, consistency, and effectiveness of regional Quality programs across the EMEA network. Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying, applying, monitoring, and sustaining Quality frameworks and compliance at the country level
- Providing structured support and driving targeted interventions (such as Go Team execution)
- Ensuring robust follow-up on audits and action plans
By fostering strong execution governance, targeted interventions, and consistent country support, this role directly contributes to improving:
- Regional quality performance indicators
- Audit outcomes
- Prevention of recurring operational and system failures
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Academic Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations, Aviation, or a related field
Professional Experience & Competencies
- Significant experience in Quality Management, Operations, or Audit roles (preferably within a regulated or multi-site environment)
- In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), audits, and corrective action processes
- Experience managing internal and/or external audits, including follow-up of findings
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational mindset
- Self-driven ability to thrive in a regional, multicultural environment
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, execution-focused approach with attention to detail
- Willingness to travel as required

Main Responsibilities
1. QMS Deployment & Country Assurance
- Deploy and ensure consistent implementation of the EMEA Quality Management System (QMS) across all countries
- Coordinate country-level gap analyses, implementation plans, and system health checks
- Validate actual application beyond compliance paperwork, ensuring:
- Robust governance
- Effective documentation and audit readiness
- Proper evidence management
- Address deviations through corrective actions and structured follow-up
2. Regional QAP Execution & Integrated System Audits
- Execute and strengthen regional Quality Assurance Programs (QAP)
- Conduct audits aligned with regional priorities to ensure effectiveness and consistency
- Support internal audit activities (particularly in countries with lower maturity, first-time audits, or risks)
- Ensure findings lead to:
- Root cause analysis
- Corrective and preventive actions
- Verified closure
- Align QAP audits with customer-specific and supplier-related quality requirements
3. Country Support & Capability Execution
- Serve as the regional execution support layer for Country Quality Managers
- Provide structured support to improve cost-effective, efficient Quality operations across the region
- Drive Director-led initiatives for capability and maturity improvements
- Coordinate coaching and structured follow-up to enhance:
- Governance
- Audit quality
- Problem-solving discipline
- Identify and escalate systemic weaknesses and risks
4. Performance, Governance, Visibility & Leadership Reporting
- Maintain structured visibility over regional Quality execution
- Provide fact-based insights for regional leadership decision-making
- Oversight of:
- QMS deployment status
- QAP execution effectiveness
- Audit outcomes
- Ensure improvements align with measurable Quality performance indicators

5. Additional Functional Responsibilities
- Go Team Execution
- Lead or coordinate Go Team deployments (phased approach: diagnosis → root cause → action → verification)
- Ensure interventions deliver measurable improvements
- Mobilize local resources and capture lessons learned for systemic prevention
