About the Role
As our Regional Safety Business Partner, you’ll hold a strategic role driving food safety, health & safety (H&S), and allergen compliance across our regional footprint. Partnering closely with the Regional Operations Director and Operations Managers, you’ll ensure our colleagues go home safe and that every meal served is safe, nutritious, and aligned with our quality standards.
Spearheaded by our values (Integrity, Bold, Impactful, Humble, Community), you’ll champion a proactive safety culture—balancing operational excellence, investigative rigor, and relational leadership. Your work will be visible, action-driven, and focused on long-term organisational improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operational Assurance
- Conduct high-risk audits, compliance inspections, and site visits using a risk-based approach to identify vulnerabilities.
- Lead or support food safety incidents, H&S incidents, and allergen management investigations, undertaking root-cause analysis and implementing actionable fixes.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and offer practical, proportionate solutions to mitigate risks.

Business Partnering
- Collaborate closely with Regional Operations Directors and Operations Managers to drive safety performance improvements.
- Provide training, guidance, and support for operational teams to proactively manage risks.
- Use audit trends, incident data and safety metrics to target high-impact areas where buy-in will yield the greatest improvements.

Continuous Improvement
- Anticipate emerging risks and address them before they escalate into incidents.
- Develop innovative safety management solutions that embed best practices into our workflows.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects that elevate operational excellence.

- 95%+ completion rate of mandatory safety training across your region.
- 50+ targeted high-risk audits per year, consistently achieving high compliance.
- Regional audit scores above 90% in foundational safety areas.
About You
About You
You’ll thrive in a fast-moving, people-focused environment where visibility, trust-building, and influence are key. This role requires versatility—whether investigating an incident, mentoring a team, or presenting to executives.
Key Skills & Experience
- Core knowledge of Food Safety (Level 4), Health & Safety (Level 5/Occupational), and risk management.
- Strong expertise in incident investigation & root-cause analysis.
- Experience auditing operational environments, with the ability to challenge standards constructively and professionally.
- Coaching, communication, and influential skills to drive change.
- Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel extensively across your region.
