Regional Sales Director (UK) | Enterprise SaaS | Quantum Computing
Location: London Area, UK (Home-Based/Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £90,000–£110,000 Base + Uncapped Commission (OTE £180,000–£220,000)
Reports To: VP Sales EMEA (UK-Based)
Before You Apply
This is a highly specialised enterprise sales opportunity. To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- 5+ years' experience selling Enterprise Software and/or SaaS solutions.
- A proven track record of closing $200K+ Annual Contract Value (ACV) enterprise software deals.
- Experience carrying an annual sales quota exceeding $2M ARR, with documented quota attainment.
- Proven success selling into Fortune 500 and large enterprise organisations.
- Experience selling deep-tech or emerging technology solutions, such as Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), High Performance Computing (HPC), Advanced Simulation, Electronic Design Automation (EDA), or Enterprise Software.
- Experience engaging technical and executive stakeholders, including CTOs, CIOs, Chief Scientists, Engineers, Heads of Innovation, and C-suite decision-makers.
- Strong experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through to contract execution.
- Experience working within a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
- Experience selling into one or more of the following sectors:
- Chemicals & Materials
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Healthcare & Life Sciences
- Financial Services
- Aerospace & Defence
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. MBA preferred.

Our client is a fast-growing deep-tech company at the forefront of the quantum computing revolution.
- Founded in 2020, the company has raised $200 million to date, including a significant recent funding round, and now employs approximately 100 people globally.
- The company has developed an advanced software platform that enables enterprises to design, optimise, and deploy quantum applications across multiple hardware architectures, bridging the gap between cutting-edge quantum research and real-world business impact.
- Their platform allows developers without quantum expertise to create quantum code by writing specifications that are automatically translated into quantum circuits.
- Already working with Fortune 500 organisations and government agencies across optimisation, financial services, defence, and chemistry, the company is entering an exciting phase of commercial growth and is looking for an exceptional enterprise sales professional to help drive category adoption.
The Opportunity
As Regional Sales Director, you will own the complete enterprise sales cycle, from identifying and developing new business opportunities through to contract negotiation, closing, and long-term account growth.
Working closely with the VP Sales EMEA, you'll build strategic relationships with senior decision-makers, position the company's technology as a long-term business solution, and help accelerate the adoption of quantum computing across global enterprise organisations.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.
- Develop new business opportunities across Fortune 500 and large enterprise organisations.
- Build trusted relationships with CTOs, CIOs, Chief Scientists, Heads of Innovation, Procurement, and C-suite executives.
- Lead complex enterprise sales engagements involving multiple stakeholders and typical sales cycles of 3–6 months.
- Position the company's quantum software platform as a strategic business solution.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Legal teams.
- Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline with disciplined forecasting.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and key customer events as a credible voice within the quantum computing ecosystem.

- £90,000–£110,000 base salary.
- Uncapped commission with On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £180,000–£220,000.
