We are hiring for a highly motivated Regional Sales Engineer to join our team of Life Science experts in Europe, primarily selling BC43 and Imaris software.
About the Products
BC43 – The Ultimate Benchtop Widefield & Confocal Microscope Oxford Instruments Andor's BC43 offers:
- High-quality imaging in 2D/3D, widefield or confocal modes
- Super-resolution capabilities delivering resolutions down to 140 nm with ease
- Certified quality for reproducibility and reliability of data across experiments and research groups
The microscope is paired with:
- Fusion Benchtop software, enabling straightforward multimodal imaging acquisition
- Imaris, the world's leading interactive microscopy image analysis software, used for:
- 3D microscopy
- Image restoration
- Visualization and analysis
About the Role
The Regional Sales Engineer will:
- Develop new business for BC43 and Imaris
- Provide product and solution explanations to customers' key stakeholders
- Work with researchers in leading universities and industry to enhance their image analysis capabilities
- Combine application and market expertise with sales skills to build a strong territory presence in Europe, with a primary focus on France

This role requires:
- Strong territory coverage, with at least 50% business travel to customers and 30% overnight stays (including international travel).
- A remote working base in France with flexibility in location.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Master’s degree in life science (or equivalent experience in a life science discipline)
- 3 years’ experience in confocal microscopy sales
- Extensive research/laboratory experience or significant experience using fluorescence microscopy for biological research
