In this pivotal role for the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales in their region by developing key relationships with both new and existing clients.

As the face of our business, our Regional Sales Executives represent the key values of John F Hunt Power in all dealings with their clients, with an unwavering commitment to providing the best possible service at all times.

The role will be predominantly field based, with some office-based work to be carried out as required by the business. It comes with a competitive salary, 25 days holiday and a company car.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new lines of business from within your region.
  • Using a methodical approach to identifying new potential customers, making initial contact and securing face-to-face meetings to discuss new business.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries in a prompt and professional manner through every stage of the sales process. From initial enquiry, to quoting, to project delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Managing a portfolio of existing accounts, developing strong working relationships and becoming a dedicated and trusted point of contact for our clients.
  • Completing a daily log of activity within a CRM system to manage your own workflow and enable full visibility of work carried out.
  • Carry out site surveys for clients and attend meetings as and when required.
  • Liaising with operations teams in our depots to ensure customer projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

  • A driven, ambitious individual who is seeking a career in sales with great prospects.
  • Sales experience & experience of the hire industry preferred but not essential
  • Experience of working in a customer facing roles
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • An organised individual who pays attention to detail at all times
  • Someone who is able to manage and prioritise their own workload
  • Must have clean UK driver’s license
