Regional Sales Manager

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Reporting to: Regional Director Location: Hybrid – Must work 2 days per week in the Ashford, Kent office Salary: £50,000 + up to £20,000 bonus + Car Allowance of £6,000 per annum Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent Working Pattern: Core hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm

About the Role

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be the driver of growth for your territory, combining energy, insight, and commercial confidence.

You’ll:

  • Identify, pursue, and capitalise on opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth Leadership: Build and execute a bold, territory-wide growth plan, focusing on both new business and account expansion.
  • Prospecting & Outreach: Actively hunt for opportunities through:
    • Cold calling
    • Networking
    • Comprehensive prospecting
    • Proactive client engagement
  • Client Relationships: Serve as the public face of Newcross for new clients, ensuring:
    • A consultative, high-quality experience from first contact on
    • Long-term trust and partnership development
  • Negotiation & Closing: Confidently lead deal negotiation, influence decision-makers, and close sales.
  • Data-Driven Performance: Leverage CRM systems and market intelligence to:
    • Spot emerging trends
    • Track performance
    • Maximise opportunity potential
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a passionate advocate for Newcross, championing our values and commitment to Exceptional Care.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure:
    • Smooth new client onboarding
    • Seamless service delivery
  • Ownership & Evolution: Take full ownership of the role, ready to lead and adapt as responsibilities expand.

Requirements

This is more than a sales role—it’s about building opportunity.

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Proven Territory Management Success: Experience in territory-based sales or business development.
  • New Business & Deal Closure: Strong track record in:
    • New business generation
    • Pipeline management
    • Closing deals
  • Communication Skills: A highly articulate, consultative, and persuasive communicator.
  • Resilience & Drive: Self-motivated, competitive, results-driven—able to thrive under pressure.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in:
    • CRM systems
    • Using sales data to inform decisions
    • Improving performance with data-driven insights
  • Collaboration & Influence: Experience working with cross-departmental teams.
  • Remote & Regional Flexibility: Comfortable:
    • With remote work
    • Traveling across the assigned region
  • Industry Advantage: Experience in:
    • Healthcare
    • Staffing
    • Regulated industries is a strong plus.
