Gekko Regional Sales Manager

Gekko is recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager to work on behalf of our global computing brand, employed and managed by Gekko.

About the Role

As Regional Manager you will lead, coach and inspire a team of Market Managers and in-store Sales Specialists, working with the National Sales Manager you will motivate your team to excel in driving sales and increasing brand advocacy. You will support your regional team in achieving agreed objectives and key results by building and maintaining strong partner relationships, monitoring the retail landscape, driving sell-out, and enhancing the consumer journey through comprehensive training and customer experience knowledge.

Your Package:

  • A salary of £38,000 per annum plus up to 10% bonus
  • Company car or Car Allowance
  • Full time, 12 month contract (Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend requirement)
  • 22 days holiday in addition to Bank Holidays + buy and sell holiday options
  • Support through our employee assistance scheme and access to a Perkbox subscription

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of Market Managers and Sales Specialists to achieve sales and brand advocacy targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Compile and analyse weekly regional feedback and insights, identifying key trends and implementing effective actions and solutions.
  • Develop and execute regional plans in alignment with our sales and partner marketing strategies.
  • Ensure brand standards and display fixtures are maintained to a high standard in your region.
  • Reporting based on regional and national output from the retail and field teams.
  • Overseeing the implementation of the strategic brand vision in your region by attending and contributing to events and creating opportunities to see and experience.
  • Take ownership of the regional and national targets, driving sell-out performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leading, developing and managing team performance, with a strong analytical approach to driving sales.
  • Experience of working within field sales and/or retail environments.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, present insights and make recommendations.
  • Strong relationship-building skills at all levels, including senior management and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Training engagement on sales or products in both 1:1 and group situations.
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Full UK driving licence.

This position offers a 12-month contract and is field-based covering a given region, with nationwide travel and weekend working on a rotational basis (a minimum of 1 in every 4 weeks to support weekends sales teams, along with flexibility on key trading dates, such as bank holidays).
