Regional Sales Manager – McCurrach on behalf of Carlsberg Britvic

Area: Northwest England (Ideal Location: Liverpool / Manchester) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: Up to £43K per annum + performance-related bonus, company car & fuel allowance

  • Beers: Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, Brooklyn, Hobgoblin, Wainwright, and more
  • Soft Drinks: J2O, Robinsons, Tango, London Essence, Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea & Rockstar Energy

With a national footprint covering 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depots, our unified focus is success for the team.

About the Role

Position: Regional Sales Manager for Britvic Convenience We’re seeking a driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales performance through strategic customer relationships, primarily targeting Convenience Symbol & Independent channel customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Accountability:

    • Lead and coach 10 Customer Development Executives within the Northwest region
    • Own sales & share growth performance of Britvic brands in your territory, ensuring outperformance against market targets
  • Strategic Growth & Customer Engagement:

    • Develop and execute a Regional Business Plan aligned with Britvic’s objectives
    • Leverage data & insights to continuously refine and adapt strategies
    • Strengthen partnerships with key retail customers, delivering mutually beneficial outcomes

  • Talent Development & Operations:

    • Maintain a talent management plan, including succession planning and performance improvement initiatives

  • Process & Reporting:

    • Ensure accuracy in key business processes and systems
    • Monitor and transform approaches based on actionable performance insights
    • Collaborate with Britvic teams on strategy, reporting, and business plan accountability

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven success as a Regional Sales Manager or equivalent role (preferably within FMCG, business development, or retail sectors)

  • Sharp strategic mindset with skills in :

    • Setting long-term goals
    • Crafting sales growth & business development strategies
    • Achieving ambitious targets through data-informed decision making
  • Essential/Winning Traits:

    • Creativity & negotiation skills to drive resonant, equitable solutions
    • Commercial acumen, ** Time Management** and excellent communication (across all stakeholders)
    • Data-driven approach with analytical strengths to translate numbers into actionable progression

Additional Requirement:

  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points or prior convictions/bans. National travel will be required.
