We're now looking for an inspiring Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team across the region, developing our people, strengthening customer partnerships and driving sustainable business growth.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same. You'll spend your time working closely with your team and customers to ensure we're delivering outstanding service while growing our presence across the region.

You'll

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of Sales Representatives to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Develop a positive, high-performance sales culture where people feel supported to succeed.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers across the construction, infrastructure, industrial and commercial sectors.
  • Identify new business opportunities while developing existing customer accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with our operational teams to ensure every customer receives a seamless experience.
  • Analyse sales performance, identify trends and implement plans that drive profitable growth.
  • Share market insight and competitor activity to help shape regional sales strategies.
  • Champion our values and support the delivery of our ESG strategy, Decade to Deliver.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people just as much as delivering results.

Essential

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience selling products and services within a commercial environment.
  • Experience leading, coaching and motivating successful sales teams.
  • Industry experience, ideally within construction, hire, plant, tools or related sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to build trusted, long-term customer and team relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • A confident, proactive approach with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on sales performance.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the local Northamptonshire market and surrounding regions.
  • Experience within the hire industry.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
