Regional Sales Manager

Location: Widnes (UK-wide travel required)
Company: ReFood UK Ltd
Reporting to: Head of Supply Chain

About ReFood

ReFood UK Ltd is a leading provider of food waste recycling services, helping businesses across the UK turn waste into renewable energy and sustainable products. As part of the SARIA Group, we operate to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow sales of our food waste recycling services across the northwest region. You will manage key accounts, develop new business, and provide leadership to a regional sales team, all while ensuring compliance, quality, and operational excellence.

This is a hands-on, commercial role with real impact across retail, food production, and hospitality sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial Leadership

  • Manage and grow sales of ReFood’s recycling services within your region
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the regional sales team to exceed targets
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying new opportunities
  • Prepare quotations, manage pricing strategies, and renegotiate contracts where appropriate
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing within the region

Supply Chain & Compliance

  • Manage and control feedstocks into the Widnes facility to meet volume, quality, and revenue targets
  • Ensure PAS110 Digestate compliance and oversee third-party digestate contractors
  • Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective service delivery

Key Accounts & Sector Focus

  • Develop new business across retail, food manufacturing, and hospitality sectors
  • Provide regional support to national suppliers of waste foodstuffs
  • Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and financial performance across accounts

Marketing, PR & Representation

  • Promote ReFood’s services across the Region
  • Represent the business at trade events, exhibitions, and seminars
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers

What We are Looking For

Essential

  • A-Level education (or equivalent)
  • Proven B2B sales experience
  • Previous people management experience
  • Excellent communication and IT skills (MS Word & Excel essential)
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound commercial decisions
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel
