Regional Sales Manager – UK/Ireland

About the Role

As Regional Sales Manager (UK/Ireland), you’ll drive business growth, positioning Elo’s market-leading innovations—including point-of-sale, self-checkout/ordering, and price-checking solutions—as the preferred choice for customers across key verticals: retail, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial.

You’ll embody Elo’s solution propellant philosophy, shifting conversations from transactions to transformation—helping customers address their pain points with cutting-edge touch-based technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Account Growth & Relationship Management

    • Target key decision-makers in named accounts, generating interest and securing information on ongoing and future requirements.
    • Lead all customer and partner interactions, ensuring Elo’s solutions and technologies are positioned competitively and collaboratively.
  • Commercial & Bid Management

    • Oversee the bid and pricing process, ensuring strict adherence to budgets.
    • Seek approval for bids outside delegated authority and represent Elo as the lead commercial spokesperson throughout discussions.
    • Navigate objections and drive successful sales conversions.
  • Strategic Winning

    • Develop commercial project propositions that showcase Elo’s value.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create joint business plans with resellers.
    • Explore ground-breaking project opportunities, aligned with industry trends.

  • Market Expansion & Route-to-Market Development
    • Chart diverse routes to market (direct sales, resellers, partnerships).
    • Onboard and energise new resellers, ensuring alignment with Elo’s vision.

Essential Requirements

  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, technology, etc.).
    • A minimum of 5 years’ proven commercial experience, with a track record in sales or account development.
  • Core Skills & Qualifications

    • Proven expertise in commercial negotiations—from sourcing to closing.
    • Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and influencing skills to build strong, multi-level relationships (operational, managerial, director-level).
    • Demand-generation prowess in sectors such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial.
    • Leadership in new business sales with a history of onboarding resellers and developing joint strategies.
  • Technical & Digital Literacy

    • Competent proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Ideal Additional Strengths

  • Industry-Specific Knowledge

    • Hands-on retail/hospitality market experience, including challenges around efficiency, customer experience, and data integrity.
    • Ability to interpret and anticipate trends in Omega, Omnichannel, and self-service technology.
  • Relationship-Driven Sales Approach

    • Passionate about creating value through relationships, with a history of strong customer and partner retention.
    • A hunting sales mind-set—collaborating with customers to innovate, while targeting ambitious pipeline growth.
  • Team & Flexibility

    • Experience working in a high-energy sales team, thriving on collective success.
    • Consistency and motivation in remote working environments.

Physical & Operational Demands
