About the Role
The Area Sales Manager – Access Automation will be responsible for:
- Driving business development in high-quality access automation products, including automatic doors, gates, barriers, bollards, and access control.
- Focusing solely on selling to installers and contractors.
- Hitting a turnover target of circa £2.5m.
- Dealing with project sizes varying from £5k to £500k depending on the scope.

Responsibilities
- Selling access automation solutions to contractors.
- Maintaining strong supplier and client relationships.
- Identifying emerging market opportunities within the region.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven field sales experience in access automation or closely aligned sectors (automatic doors, security, CCTV, gates, barriers, bollards, and access control).
- Technical knowledge of emerging technologies such as access control and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition).
- Strong business acumen with a highly innovative mindset and can-do attitude.
- Excellent literal and numerical skills, alongside clear communication (both verbal and written).
- Self-motivated, dynamic personality with a go-getter mentality.
