Position Summary

We are hiring an experienced and entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager to launch and scale Tricon’s PET distribution business in Europe. As the first commercial hire dedicated to this region, you’ll play a pivotal role:

  • Building the business from scratch
  • Developing new customer relationships and expanding existing accounts
  • Identifying market opportunities
  • Collaborating globally with trading, logistics, and operations teams to deliver customer-centric solutions

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and scale Tricon’s PET distribution in Europe from a baseline.
  • Identify, win, and develop new customers, managing strategic accounts.
  • Foster long-term relationships with stakeholders across the PET value chain.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing structures.
  • Partner with trading, logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to execute customer-driven solutions.
  • Monitor market trends to uncover new commercial opportunities.
  • Travel frequently across Europe for client meetings and industry events.
  • Support the growth of Tricon’s European PET commercial team for future expansion.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial PET industry experience (sales, business development, or distribution).
  • Proven success in winning and expanding PET distribution accounts.
  • Established network of European contacts within the PET sector (distributors, producers, end-users).
  • Deep understanding of PET distribution, logistics, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and commercial acumen.
  • Strong global mobility commitment (frequent domestic and regional travel).
  • Fluent English (mandatory); additional European language(s) advantageous.
  • Background in a PET producer, distributor, or trading company preferred (industry knowledge builds credibility).
  • Knowledge of recycled PET (rPET) and sustainability trends regarded as a plus.
