Location

Europe (Flexible – Germany, Netherlands, France, Portugal, or the United Kingdom).

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager to establish and grow Tricon’s PET distribution business across Europe. As the first commercial hire dedicated to this role in the region, you’ll be a key player in building the business from the ground up, developing new customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and identifying market opportunities.

In collaboration with global trading, logistics, and operations teams, you’ll deliver customer-focused solutions and drive the future growth of Tricon’s European PET business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow Tricon’s PET distribution business across Europe.
  • Identify, win, and develop new customers while managing strategic accounts.
  • Build long-term customer relationships across the PET value chain.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing.
  • Collaborate with trading, logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to deliver solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Travel extensively across Europe to meet customers and represent Tricon at industry events.
  • Support the expansion of the European PET commercial team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial experience within the PET industry.
  • Proven track record in PET sales and business development.
  • Strong existing network of customers and industry relationships in Europe.
  • Deep understanding of PET distribution, including logistics and supply chain.
  • Strong commercial, negotiating, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently across Europe.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience working in a PET producer, distributor, or trading company (preferred).
  • Additional European language skills (preferred).
  • Knowledge of recycled PET (rPET) and sustainability trends (preferred).
