Regional Sales Manager - Pharma Ingredients
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our Pharma Ingredients business across EMEA. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering the regional sales strategy, managing pricing, and driving sustainable growth across the business.
The role combines strategic leadership, commercial execution, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between sales, supply chain, and innovation teams to deliver performance and customer value.
Who We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in senior sales leadership within Pharma, speciality chemicals, or related sectors
- Strong understanding of innovation, R&D processes, and sustainable product development
- Demonstrated success in pricing strategy, market development, and account leadership
- An inspiring and motivating leader with the ability to engage and successfully work with cross functional and culturally diverse teams
- Creative and innovative thinker, to identify and deliver business opportunities to provide competitive advantage and growth
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to build effective working relationships and networks
- Resilient and able to adapt to different situations and demonstrate a good level of judgement
- Strategic planning and execution capability
- Supply chain awareness and risk governance
- Degree-level education in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of regulatory, contract, and industry standards
- Willingness to travel across EMEA and engage directly with customers
- Fluent in written and spoken English is essential

What You’ll Be Doing
Commercial & Strategic Leadership
- Deliver 1-3 year regional sales plan, including revenue, margin, and pricing strategy
- Translate business strategy into clear sales objectives and KPIs across the region
- Lead market intelligence, identify growth opportunities, and shape future commercial direction
- Support the development of the annual EMEA commercial plan and ongoing forecasts
Sales Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and develop the regional sales network, providing direction and performance oversight
- Line manage a Sales Development Coordinator and provide leadership to a wider network of Country Sales Managers and Account Managers
- Drive performance through target setting, appraisals, and capability development
- Lead pipeline reviews, reporting, and quarterly performance reviews
Operational & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across S&OP, supply chain, and site teams (multi-site environment)
- Lead regional coordination for new product launches and commercial excellence initiatives
- Provide commercial input into technical development and training programmes
- Drive transformation initiatives and continuous improvement across the sales function

Customer & Market Engagement
- Develop and execute key account and customer strategies across EMEA
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders
- Represent Croda at key industry events (e.g. CPHI) and lead the regional sales presence
- Conduct regular customer and regional visits to strengthen market insight and relationships
