Join us as a Regional Sales Manager
Maincor specialise in innovative plumbing solutions and underfloor heating. We are proud of having introduced several innovative products into the UK that help minimize heat loss. We work across the UK with customers in the building and construction sectors. Maincor are a division of wienerberger UK & Ireland.
About The Role
As a Regional Sales Manager you will build strong relationships and develop new opportunities across your territory that support our sustainable growth. You’ll work with autonomy, representing our high-quality products, and contributing directly to our commercial performance.
Your focus will be with regional and smaller private developers, installers and specifiers, whilst also supporting a smaller number of merchants across your territory.
Duties Also Include
Working independently in your territory to generate sales and promote products to strengthen our existing customer relationships and develop new business Maintaining accurate records of sales data, customer information and activity using CRM and SharePoint systems Representing the business at national and regional exhibitions and trade events Organising and delivering informal customer training events Representing the business at customer trade events Supporting occasional out-of-hours customer events and entertaining

This role plays a key part in supporting our purpose of delivering reliable, practical solutions to the construction industry. Your work will help customers achieve better outcomes on their projects while supporting long-term business success.
This role covers the following key areas: Scotland (particularly Wigtownshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh), North East, Lake District. Regular travel is required to visit customers, attend events, and represent the business across the region.
We can consider some flexibility on the exact territory based on your current home address.
Working Pattern
8am to 5pm. Monday to Friday.
About You
Essential
Strong experience managing and developing customer relationships within the construction or building products sector Good knowledge of building products, particularly within plumbing and heating Proven ability to grow market share and develop commercial partnerships Excellent account management skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and projects Strong experience using CRM systems to manage customer data and sales activity Ability to analyse sales data and identify new opportunities Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently across a wide geographic territory Strong communication and negotiation skills Hold a full driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly

Understanding of the renewable heating market and associated products Knowledge of different plumbing systems, including pipes and fittings
