Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and inspirational sales leader to join our Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) business as a Regional Business Manager - South. In this high-impact leadership role, you will drive commercial success across our Vascular Access Management (VAM) portfolio while developing a high-performing team and building strategic partnerships within the healthcare system.

About the Role

As Regional Business Manager, you will lead, coach, and inspire a team of Territory Managers to achieve ambitious sales and profitability targets. Working closely with healthcare leaders, cross-functional colleagues, and the UK&I leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping regional strategy, driving commercial excellence, and delivering sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver or exceed annual sales revenue and profitability objectives for the region.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned to business strategy.
  • Drive a culture of Commercial Excellence, leveraging CRM tools such as Salesforce to support business planning and forecasting.
  • Build strong relationships with senior healthcare stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Partner with Commercial, Medical, Clinical, and Marketing teams to maximise business opportunities.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
  • Coach Territory Managers through regular field visits and development plans.
  • Contribute to UK&I leadership initiatives and cross-portfolio projects.
  • Ensure compliance with BD policies, processes, and ethical standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Influencing senior healthcare leaders to establish productive partnerships with BD.
  • Recruiting, coaching, and developing top sales talent.
  • Creating an environment focused on continuous learning and high performance.
  • Setting regional priorities and deploying resources effectively.
  • Managing sales forecasts, KPIs, and business performance reviews.
  • Collaborating across BD teams to identify and execute growth opportunities.
  • Driving adoption of approved marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
  • Supporting the delivery of innovative clinical and commercial solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven sales leadership experience within healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, motivate, and inspire successful sales teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering against revenue and profit targets.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent strategic planning, forecasting, and business management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to lead through change and drive performance improvement.
  • Experience using CRM systems and data-driven sales management approaches.
