We're looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to help grow Talon's market share across your territory.
You'll be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, winning new business, and creating demand for our market-leading product range. Working with independent and national merchants, buying groups, contractors, installers, developers, and specification influencers, you'll play a key role in delivering profitable growth while representing the Talon brand.

What You'll Be Doing
- Grow sales and profitability across your territory.
- Develop new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
- Manage key accounts across independent merchants, national merchant groups, and distributors.
- Promote the full Talon product range and support successful new product launches.
- Generate demand with contractors, installers, developers, and specification influencers, driving business back through merchant partners.
- Identify and develop specification opportunities from initial enquiry through to project completion.
- Deliver product demonstrations, customer training, and commercial presentations.
- Plan and manage your territory effectively, maintaining a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasts.
- Use our CRM system to manage customer activity and opportunities.
- Work closely with our Internal Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Represent Talon at customer events, exhibitions, and trade shows.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- An experienced field sales or business development professional.
- Successful in selling to builders' merchants, plumbing merchants, distributors, or within the construction supply chain.
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Confident managing a territory and working independently.
- An excellent communicator and presenter.
- Well organized with strong planning and time management skills.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- In possession of a full UK driving licence and willing to travel extensively within the region, including occasional overnight stays.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience within the plumbing or building products industry.
- Knowledge of national merchant groups and buying groups.
- Experience of specification selling and project tracking.
- An understanding of the UK merchant distribution network.
