Regional Sales Manager UKI - IAM Devices
Location: Remote (home based) – UK only
Other: permanent, full-time, remote, with 10% domestic travel with a London focus and ad hoc travel to Thales Reading office

Our Opportunity
As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a driven, results-focused Regional Sales Manager to strengthen our IAM Core Business. In this role, you’ll own key Digital Banking Device accounts and accelerate revenue through smart cross-sell and up-sell across our full IAM portfolio. You’ll work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and professional services to hit ambitious targets, while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders to expand our presence within priority digital banking accounts.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT security sales professional who thrives in fast-growing environments and knows how to drive strategy while delivering results. They bring a strong track record in complex enterprise sales - particularly within Banking and Financial Services - paired with deep knowledge of IAM, cybersecurity, and digital banking technologies. They excel at building senior-level relationships, navigating full sales cycles with confidence, and collaborating across marketing, engineering, and services teams to accelerate growth. With sharp commercial instincts and the ability to spot and convert new opportunities, they’re someone who consistently elevates account performance and market presence.

Main Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales strategy - Shape and execute sales strategies for the Europe IAM Core Business in a fast-growing environment
- Grow and manage key accounts - Build strong relationships with end-user customers and internal teams to expand business and deepen account penetration
- Deliver revenue and pipeline growth - Achieve annual targets, grow strategic accounts, identify new DBK Device opportunities, and convert a strong pipeline into closed deals
- Execute full sales cycle - Lead prospecting, qualification, demos/POVs, RFP responses, negotiation, and deal closure with precision and pace
- Collaborate on go-to-market initiatives - Partner with marketing on ABM campaigns, events, and opportunity creation while representing the business at field activities
- Monitor market and report performance - Track market trends, competitor moves, regulatory shifts, and provide clear updates, forecasts, and insights to management

Essential Experience & Skills

- Demonstrated industry expertise — in IT security sales or key account management, ideally with exposure to IAM, PKI, FIDO, or digital banking technologies
- Proven complex-sales success - Strong track record selling complex solutions into Banking/Financial Services and managing strategic accounts
- Demonstrated cybersecurity and IAM knowledge - Solid understanding of IAM, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and related technologies
- Acquired technical and sales-tool proficiency - Strong technical acumen with hands-on experience using Microsoft O365, Salesforce.com, and other productivity tools
- Proven communication and presentation capability - Ability to articulate complex concepts, deliver compelling presentations, contribute to proposals/RFPs, and guide PoCs
- Demonstrated deal-management and stakeholder leadership - Skilled in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex deals while collaborating effectively with internal teams, senior customer stakeholders, and system integrators
Desirable Experience & Skills
- Proven sales impact - Consistently exceeds targets, manages complex deals, and builds strong customer relationships
- Demonstrated UKI banking expertise - Deep knowledge of the UKI Banking/Finance market and ability to engage confidently at C-suite level
- Proven hardware security sales - Successful track record selling hardware-based security products
