Company Description

Promlift UK is the UK-focused arm of the Promlift brand, specialising in material handling equipment including forklifts and warehouse trucks. Backed by European engineering and manufacturing standards, the company works closely with the Promstahl industrial group and trusted suppliers such as PJP Makrum to deliver reliable, high-quality products. Promlift UK supports warehouses, distribution centres, and industrial sites with practical solutions for internal logistics and material movement. Its offering includes sales of new and used equipment, flexible short- and long-term hire, and comprehensive servicing and maintenance support. The company also provides straightforward, practical advice to help customers select the right equipment and improve operational efficiency.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Lutterworth, with a mix of on-site customer visits and some work from home. The Regional Sales Representative will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage an assigned territory, and build long-term relationships with customers in warehousing, distribution, and industrial sectors. The role involves working closely with internal teams to coordinate equipment supply, hire agreements, and after-sales service, while maintaining accurate records in the CRM system and reporting on sales performance. The Regional Sales Representative is expected to stay informed about product developments and market trends, and represent Promlift UK professionally at customer meetings and relevant industry events.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B field sales, ideally within material handling, industrial equipment, logistics, or a related sector.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, territory management, and account development.
  • Ability to conduct on-site assessments, understand customer operations, and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
  • Competence in preparing quotations, managing the sales pipeline, and using CRM and standard office software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing time effectively, and balancing on-site and home-based work.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
  • Experience with warehouse operations or internal logistics, and knowledge of forklifts or material handling equipment, is an advantage.
  • Relevant vocational training or education in sales, business, or a technical field related to industrial equipment is beneficial.
