About the Role
Samsic UK Security is looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Regional Security & Front of House Officer to support our client sites in Newport.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional front-of-house environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and can maintain a calm, visible, and reassuring security presence.
The successful candidate will support multiple sites, so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential. Full site training will be provided.
Due to the nature of the site, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain SC Clearance. This will require a full checkable history and may include residency and nationality requirements in line with client vetting standards.
Working Pattern
- You will be contracted to work 10 hours per week on a rota basis.
- Flexibility is required as shifts may include: Days, Nights, and weekends (Monday to Friday) 1 to 2 days a week.
- Bank Holidays
- Cover a site in Newport.
- Overtime will be available.
- Rota details and site coverage requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a professional meet-and-greet service to visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
- Managing enquiries in a polite, calm, and professional manner.
- Maintaining a smart, alert, and visible security presence.
- Monitoring and managing site systems within the security control base.
- Completing accurate reports and incident logs when required.
- Supporting access control and visitor management procedures.
- Acting as a professional ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client.
- Liaising effectively with the client, site teams, and Contract Manager.
- Following site procedures, assignment instructions, and health and safety requirements.

About You
We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, and confident working in a customer-facing security role. You should have:
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A polite, approachable, and professional manner.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Good written English for reports and daily logs.
- A flexible approach to working hours and site coverage.
- A smart and professional appearance.
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- A full 5-year checkable work history.

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a current SIA Licence.
- Have the right to work full time in the UK.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Be able to provide a full 5-year checkable history.
- Be willing to complete SC Clearance vetting.
- Be flexible to support multiple sites across the South Coast.
