The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As Regional Security Manager, EMEA you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. The Regional Security Manager, Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) serves as the senior security leader responsible for advancing Solventum’s Security and Resilience strategy across the region. This position is accountable for protecting Solventum’s employees, operations, assets, intellectual property, and reputation through the development and execution of risk-based security programs aligned with business objectives.
Operating as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, the Regional Security Manager provides strategic guidance on security risk management, crisis response, workplace violence prevention, travel security, investigations, and business resilience. The role requires close collaboration with business leaders, functional partners, and external stakeholders to identify emerging risks, enhance organizational resilience, and ensure security considerations are integrated into business operations, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence outcomes across a complex, multinational environment while operating with a high degree of independence, discretion, and sound judgement.

Primary Responsibilities
Regional Security Leadership
- Serve as the primary security and resilience advisor to regional leadership across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
- Develop and implement regional security strategies that support Solventum’s business objectives and risk management framework.
- Partner with business leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, strategic, and emerging security risks.
- Lead the Regional Site Security Leader program by providing governance, mentorship, training, and operational support to site security leaders, ensuring consistent implementation of Solventum security standards, risk management practices, and resilience initiatives across all facilities within the region.
Security & Resilience Programs
- Lead regional execution of enterprise security and resilience programs, including:
- Crisis Management
- Travel Security
- Workplace Violence Prevention
- Executive Protection
- Threat Intelligence
- Emergency Communications
- Event Security
- Physical Security Risk Management
- Ensure alignment of regional programs with global standards, policies, and governance requirements.
Crisis Management & Incident Response
- Lead regional response efforts for significant security incidents, geopolitical events, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, and other disruptive events.
- Provide strategic guidance and operational leadership during crises to ensure effective decision-making and business continuity.
- Support and participate in regional and global crisis management exercises and preparedness initiatives.
Security Risk Management
- Conduct security risk assessments of facilities, operations, supply chain activities, acquisitions, and strategic business initiatives.
- Recommend and oversee implementation of practical, risk-based, and cost-effective security solutions.
- Monitor regional threat environments and provide timely intelligence, analysis, and recommendations to leadership.
Investigations & Intelligence
- Support complex investigations involving employee misconduct, fraud, theft, workplace violence, intellectual property protection, and other security-related matters.
- Develop intelligence collection and analysis capabilities to identify emerging threats and support informed business decisions.
- Ensure investigations are conducted professionally, ethically, and in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, site management, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, EHS, Supply Chain, Facilities, and other key stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, industry organizations, and security service providers throughout the region.
- Support security due diligence activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, and business expansion efforts.
Team Development
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to site security coordinators and regional security resources.
- Foster a culture of security awareness, preparedness, and resilience throughout the region.
- Drive continuous improvement through training, performance management, and program development.

Your Skills And Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in corporate security, military, law enforcement, intelligence, investigations, risk management, or a related field
- Proficiency in English (oral & written)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Leadership experience managing security programs across multiple countries and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex investigations, crisis response efforts, and security risk assessments. Strong understanding of geopolitical, operational, and business risks impacting multinational organizations.
- Experience working successfully in highly matrixed, multicultural, and geographically dispersed organizations.
- Experience within a multinational healthcare, manufacturing, technology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organization.
- Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI, CFE, CBCP, MBCI, PMP, or equivalent.
- Established network of security, intelligence, and risk management contacts throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
- Experience managing security programs in elevated-risk and complex geopolitical environments. Knowledge of executive protection, protective intelligence, and travel risk management programs.
- Proficiency in one or more additional EMEA languages.
