Regional Service Manager

Regional Service Manager – South West | Bristol

🚛 £55,000 – £57,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle

Are you an experienced Service Manager looking for your next leadership challenge? Do you thrive on delivering outstanding customer service, driving operational performance, and developing high-performing teams?

We're partnering with a market-leading specialist vehicle manufacturer to recruit a Regional Service Manager for their South West operation. Based in Bristol, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a busy Service Centre, leading all aspects of aftersales and service delivery while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and commercial success.

What You'll Be Doing

As Regional Service Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day service and aftersales operation, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency, technical quality, and customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of technicians and service professionals
  • Driving service centre productivity, utilisation, and profitability
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Managing service centre budgets, overheads, and performance targets
  • Supporting workshop planning and job prioritisation
  • Providing technical support on complex repairs and maintenance activities
  • Overseeing parts stock management across the depot and field engineers
  • Driving improvements in First-Time Fix rates and overall service performance
  • Identifying training and development needs within the team
  • Conducting performance reviews, workforce planning, and holiday approvals
  • Managing service contracts and ensuring excellent aftersales delivery

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Proven experience in a Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, or Service Operations leadership role
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • A background within special purpose vehicles, plant equipment, HGV, manual handling, or a related engineering sector
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication abilities
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and service performance
  • SAP experience (desirable)
  • A full UK driving licence
