Job Opportunity: Specification Manager

Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in specification sales within the construction or KBB sector?

LIXIL EMENA (reputable parent of GROHE) is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Specification Manager to join our Projects UK team, representing a globally respected brand.

This role is ideal for someone who combines:

  • Deep industry expertise
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Proven ability to navigate complex decision-making in project specification environments

You will...

  • Drive high-value customer relationships across hospitability, residential, and architecture & design (A&D) sectors.
  • Secure and protect GROHE specifications across key geographic regions, ensuring successful order execution.

Key Duties

Core Responsibilities

  • Work with architects, designers, developers, and contractors to cultivate and safeguard GROHE’s specifications.
  • Identify high-value, complex projects early and facilitate their execution through dynamic decision chains.
  • Promote GROHE’s technical and commercial value proposition to kers, contractors, installers, and merchants.
  • Co-manage projects with commercial merchant partners, maximizing sales growth and revenue upside.
  • Maintain and update CRM (Salesforce) with accurate project activity data.
  • Lead pipeline opportunity positioning using tools such as ABI.
  • Conduct CPD sessions and represent GROHE at industry events/exhibitions to solidify market position.
  • Ensure exemplary project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Produce monthly reports as required.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support growth ambitions.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in project-based roles within construction, sanitaryware, KBB, or similar sectors.
  • Strong specification sales track record (including specimen management).
  • Technical literacy specific to residential new build and hospitality BIM/KBB environments.
  • Deep understanding of bathroom fixtures/products, best suited for a technical specification mindset.
  • Advanced account management skills, capable of cultivating long-term client relationships (kBB field Everett услугу).
  • Ability to confidently present CPD sessions to A&D professionals at design workshops.
  • Hands-on familiarity with CRM systems, with particular preference for Salesforce experience.
  • Polished written/oral communication and presentation abilities.
  • Full UK driver’s licence (clean or uncontested disciplinary record).
