Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Specification Sales Manager (Southeast) to drive Breathing Buildings’ growth in a sustainable and strategic manner. Region includes: Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Greater London, Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Isle of Wight.

This role focuses on expanding market share, securing specifications, tracking projects at the tender stage, and converting opportunities into confirmed orders through to fulfilment. You will be responsible for building and managing strong relationships with Main Contractors, M&E Consultants, and Mechanical Contractors, while identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

Adaptability, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, as you will collaborate with architects, building services consultants, contractors, and installation engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of Breathing Buildings solutions and services to new and existing clients.
  • Deliver tailored solutions by understanding client needs and offering expert guidance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Main Contractors, M&E Consultants, and Mechanical Contractors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Admin, Design, and Project Engineering to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Identify new markets, potential clients, and business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Implement and execute sales strategies to achieve growth objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging CPD presentations to clients and industry professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions within the CRM system.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of external sales experience, preferably liaising with Main Contractors, M&E Consultants, and Mechanical Contractors for specifications and selling.
  • Experience in HVAC, heat recovery, hybrid ventilation, or building services solutions is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience in preparing and delivering CPDs.
  • Proficient in sales planning, forecasting, and performance analysis to consistently achieve targets.
  • Self-motivated, sales-driven, and results-oriented with a demonstrable history of sales success.
  • Experience using CRM software to track and manage sales activity effectively.
  • Based within the region, driver’s license.
