Regional Student Recruitment Manager

Regional Student Recruitment Manager position is a key role in the sales and marketing team, with core responsibility for delivering the student recruitment targets for a Newcastle based Education partnership.

The role is responsible for developing and delivering the annual Sales and Marketing plan including market, channel, agent, partner and product strategy to achieve growth with the associated budget management responsibility as well as management and development of the UK sales team.

Key responsibilities

  • Formulates, builds and delivers the annual sales plan to achieve the sales targets against business growth and commercial objectives for all programmes.
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities through partnerships with schools, agents, local communities, welfare organisations and educational institutions. All other product areas are within the scope of the role, and it will be important to identify opportunities to develop recruitment outside the core remit.
  • Ensures high level of support, training and customer service to all recruitment channels support designated product and region.
  • Ensures a strong year on year growth within the allocated region.
  • Manages operating expenditure, commission and discounts with a focus on improving the overall cost of capture against specific targets.
  • Drives longer-term sales growth in line with the requirements of the business for the region, via the regional sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all recruitment channels and the partner university.
  • Manages the performance, training and development of the regional Sales team to ensure that recruitment targets are consistently achieved within compliance, academic and commercial guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure that the sales tools to promote centres are available, impactful and effective for the region.
  • Collaborate with the wider Sales, Admissions, Compliance, Finance and Academic teams to follow up enquiries and applications to convert and recruit new students.

  • An individual with extensive experience (3-5 years+) of student recruitment
  • Previous experience in a commercial role within education
  • Management Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of dealing directly with a wide variety of people
