Job Description
Vergo Pest Management Ltd are growing their team in the West Midlands area and are looking for a Regional Team Leader to join us. This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced pest control technician, as a first step towards a management role in Vergo Pest Management Ltd. Experience and qualifications in the Pest Control field is essential for this role.
You’ll be at the sharp end of our service for commercial and residential properties where you'll be visiting our customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises.
Plus you will provide training and support to technicians within the team as required, helping develop their skills and knowledge while also developing your own as a future manager.
Main Duties
- Undertake general service work for the eradication and treatment of pests.
- Record all visits to customers via our smartphone app.
- Overseeing Training of new starters and existing technicians within the region.
- Provide Technical Support on a day-to-day basis as well as supporting front line training for technicians.
- Provide support to the business in front line customer engagement.
- Maximise sales opportunities via self-sold and lead submission.
- Help with the planning and implementation of the mobilisation of new large contracts.
- Support the Area Manager in maximising productivity across the region.
- Any other “ad hoc” duties as required by the needs of the business.

Essential Criteria
- Full UK Driver's Licence
- BPCA Accredited Technician in Pest Control
- RSPH Level 2 Award
- Proven experience within Pest Control, ideally more than 2 years
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- The ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
- To be methodical and systematic in your approach to work.
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Experience of carrying out all elements of rodent proofing work.

- Previous supervisory/management experience is desirable but not essential.
