Regional Facilities Maintenance Manager- Sports Leisure Fitness

Remote - travelling from Mansfield to Loughborough
Up to £58,000 + car + benefits + development

We are looking for a Regional Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the building services and energy consumption of a diverse range multifaceted Sports, Leisure and Fitness centres across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, coach and support a small team of technical managers, onsite and mobile maintenance technicians, and ground keeping teams.
  • Support asset management, including planned and reactive maintenance, budgets and lifecycle planning.
  • Ensure statutory and contract compliance across the portfolio of sports and leisure facilities.
  • Provide technical guidance on HVAC, building management systems (BMS) and electro-mechanical plant.
  • Lead effective energy management, using data analysis to reduce consumption and carbon without compromising customer experience.
  • Support capital projects, new site openings and the management of subcontractors and consultants.
  • Produce clear reporting and insights on performance, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Typically working Monday to Friday but available outside of these hours in the event of an emergency.

The Person

  • Facilities/building services/ technical/engineering/ maintenance management experience in high-volume customer service orientated facilities like health and fitness, leisure, healthcare, hotels or hospitality.
  • Working understanding of HVAC systems, BMS control strategies and energy audits.
  • Ideally multi-site leadership and stakeholder management experience possibly as an Area Manager, Regional manager or Contract Manager
  • Ideally experience supporting or delivering ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.
  • Pool Plant operator/ swimming pool/spa experience is highly desirable, but training could be provided if otherwise very capable.
  • Has a UK driving licence and ideally living in or around Nottingham or Derby for easy access to the venues.
