Regional Trainer

North of England

35 hours per week

Salary £33,397.00 per annum rising to £35,144.20 after 12 months / plus car allowance £7,703.53 per annum

Your role

We are seeking a Housing Related Support Trainer to strengthen our current team to deliver quality training to our staff to enable them to provide excellent standards across a diverse Supported Living Service. In this role you will be responsible for the process of training design, delivery and evaluation, so you’ll have the opportunity to shape what we deliver! Sanctuary offer a blended approach to learning and development, using e-learning, webinars, face to face training and observation and evaluation.

Your skills

Utilising your previous experience of working within Housing/Supported Living and working within the regulatory framework, you will be skilled at identifying learning needs and evaluating learning and development programmes through observation and feedback. You will support a cluster of schemes across the North of England ensuring that staff have access to on-going skills development, as required for working within Supported Living.

You will need to be hard working, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team, and solely, whilst being remotely managed. Communication and organisational skills are therefore essential as you will work closely with people at all levels of the organisation, to ensure cost effective training is delivered appropriately and consistently, tailoring learning solutions and services to meet a wide variety of needs.

You will ideally hold Level 3 Education and Training certificate (or equivalent), CIPD certificate in training practice or have recent experience working in a similar role and the Housing/Supported Living Sector. Strong computer skills and experience of working to challenging deadlines are essential for success in this role.

If you have a passion for learning and development, coupled with an innovative, pragmatic and flexible approach, you will be equipped to meet the needs and add value to our fast-paced organisation. Frequent and overnight travel is a requirement of this role; therefore a full, current driving licence and flexibility is essential to travel across the region and other regions as requested.
