About The Role
Salary: £26,500 per annum for full-time hours, pro rata for part-time hours
Hours: Full-time or part-time
Contract: Permanent

Trinity Homecare is looking for an experienced and engaging Regional Trainer to support the development of our care teams.
In this varied role, you will deliver high-quality induction, mandatory and ongoing development training to both new and existing colleagues. Your work will help ensure our care workers have the knowledge, confidence and practical skills they need to provide safe, compassionate and consistently high-quality care.
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work closely with operational managers, recruitment teams and other internal stakeholders to identify training needs, support employee development and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging classroom-based, virtual and practical training to new and existing employees
- Facilitating induction and onboarding sessions that introduce colleagues to our culture, systems, standards and expectations
- Delivering statutory, mandatory and role-specific training across your designated region
- Working with managers and leadership teams to identify learning needs and develop appropriate training solutions
- Creating and updating training materials, presentations, manuals and e-learning resources
- Supporting the development of training for colleagues delivering complex care
- Coaching and mentoring employees and managers to encourage continuous learning and improved performance
- Assessing learners’ knowledge and practical skills, including providing support in operational care settings where required
- Evaluating training effectiveness through feedback, assessments and performance information
- Maintaining accurate, confidential and up-to-date training records
- Supporting compliance with CQC training requirements, relevant legislation and company policies
- Travelling to other Trinity Homecare locations where there is a business need

Your main working location will be stated in your contract. However, regional travel will be required, and occasional overnight stays may be necessary. Approved accommodation will be provided where appropriate.
About You
You will be a confident trainer who can make learning practical, relevant and engaging for people with different levels of experience and learning needs.
You Will Need
- A minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or an equivalent qualification
- At least three years’ experience within training, learning and development or a comparable role
- Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills
- Experience delivering training both in person and virtually
- The ability to adapt your training style to suit different learners
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning management systems
- The ability and willingness to travel throughout your assigned region
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
- A proactive, self-motivated and improvement-focused approach
- The ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training and recommend improvements
- An inclusive and culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse teams
