Compass Associates are proud to be working in an exclusive partnership with a leading social care organisation. They are currently seeking an experienced Regional Training Manager to join their children's services division, as the regional lead for their L&D function across services throughout the South of the UK.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving a strong learning culture, ensuring high standards of compliance through the delivery of high-quality training programmes across their children’s services. You will lead and support a team of L&D Partners, ensuring all learning activity aligns with regulatory requirements, organisational objectives, and sector best practice.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and line manage a regional team of L&D Partners, overseeing performance, development, workload allocation, onboarding, and compliance records.
- Drive quality assurance across training delivery through observations, feedback, coaching, evaluation analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure training provision meets regulatory and sector standards, including Restraint Reduction Network, BILD accreditation, and Ofsted SCCIF expectations.
- Act as the regional L&D lead, partnering with operational, QA, HR, and clinical teams to deliver responsive, needs-led learning solutions.
- Support the design and implementation of bespoke training programmes aligned with service needs, quality findings, and organisational objectives.
- Deliver core and specialist training sessions to maintain subject expertise, support delivery targets, and model best-practice facilitation.
- Monitor regional L&D performance through data analysis, reporting, feedback trends, and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
- Support budget management, resource planning, external audits, inspections, and ongoing compliance with organisational policies.
- Maintain personal and team CPD requirements, promoting professional development, innovation, and reflective learning practices.

Requirements:
- Significant experience in training or L&D for a children’s residential service provider (essential)
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including Ofsted, SCCIF and CQC
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes including observation, evaluation and moderation
- Relevant teaching/training qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, AET, CET etc) is desirable
- Experience using various digital learning platforms
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally and nationally as required
